S + H’s wedding day at the de Young Museum felt like such a classic San Francisco fall day. It was late November, the morning started off rainy, and then by the afternoon the sun finally pushed through the clouds and lit up Golden Gate Park in this really soft, gentle way. Inside the museum, the clean lines, big windows, and art-filled spaces made everything feel modern yet warm, with oranges, maroons, and rich fall tones weaving through their flowers, outfits, and decor.
S + H both grew up in San Francisco, so getting married at the de Young, right in the middle of Golden Gate Park, felt extra meaningful. We had already done their engagement photos in the park, so coming back here for their wedding day almost felt like a continuation of the same story—just with more people they love, more happy tears, and a lot more dancing. These photos are all about that cozy, end-of-year energy: the city they call home, post-rain sunshine through the trees, and a celebration that felt relaxed, intentional, and very “them.”
